The estate plan you've been meaning to do. Done in a week.

Living will, healthcare proxy, and power of attorney — drafted by attorneys, signed and notarized, one flat fee. $1,200 for individuals. $1,500 for couples. Serving New York and New Jersey.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Three documents. Everything your family needs so they're not left guessing.

These are the documents every adult needs. Without them, the state decides — or your family ends up fighting over what you would have wanted.

Living Will (Advance Healthcare Directive)

Your wishes for end-of-life care, in writing — so your family doesn't have to make impossible decisions in a crisis.

Healthcare Proxy

Names the person you trust to make medical decisions on your behalf if you can't speak for yourself.

Power of Attorney

Names the person you trust to handle your financial and legal matters if you become incapacitated.

PRICING

One flat fee. No hourly billing. No surprises.

Individuals — $1,200

Living will, healthcare proxy, and power of attorney — all three documents, drafted by an attorney, executed in either NY or NJ.

Couples — $1,500

Both spouses get the full bundle. Just $300 more than a single bundle — because most couples plan together, and life happens to both of you at once.

What's not included: the court filing fees and notary costs that apply in some situations. We'll tell you exactly what those are at consultation — there's nothing hidden.

Why People Put This Off

Almost no one wakes up wanting to plan for the worst day of their life. Nothing's urgent. Nothing's wrong. And the documents feel intimidating until someone walks you through them.

So it gets put off. And then a hospital stay, a parent's diagnosis, or a friend's emergency makes the absence of these documents matter very much.

This bundle exists for people who know they should have these things in place — and just need a way to get it done without spending weeks on it.

How It Works

  • 1. Consultation

You meet with a Larkin Farrell attorney — virtually, or in person at our Manhattan or Red Bank office. We walk through your situation and confirm this bundle is the right fit. If it isn't, we'll tell you and recommend the right approach.

  • 2. Drafting

We prepare your living will, healthcare proxy, and power of attorney based on your specific wishes, the people you've chosen, and any special instructions you want included.

  • 3. Review and signing

You review the drafts, ask any questions, and sign with proper witnessing and notarization. We coordinate the whole signing — you don't have to track anything down.

  • 4. Done

You leave with executed originals. We retain copies. Your family knows where to find them when they need them.

Typical timeline: one to two weeks from consultation to signed documents.

Who This Is For

This bundle is right for you if:

You're an adult in New York or New Jersey

You don't have these documents yet (or your current ones are out of date)

Your financial and family situation is relatively straightforward

You want core protection without complexity

This bundle is NOT right for you if:

You have complex assets, business interests, or significant property

You need a Last Will and Testament with detailed inheritance planning

Your situation involves trusts, blended-family considerations, or estate tax planning

You're looking for asset protection strategy

If you're not sure where you fit, schedule a consultation anyway. We'll help you figure out what you actually need — and the consultation is free.

FAQ

  • Is this a Last Will and Testament?

No. This bundle covers what happens if you can't make decisions for yourself — incapacity planning. A Last Will and Testament governs what happens to your assets after you pass away. We can prepare one separately; ask about it at your consultation.

  • Does this work in both New York and New Jersey?

Yes. We're admitted in both states. The documents are drafted to comply with the laws of the state where you reside.

  • Can I change these documents later?

Yes — you can revoke or amend them at any time. If your situation changes meaningfully (new marriage, new child, new diagnosis, new decision-makers), you should update them. We're available to handle amendments.

  • Can my spouse and I do this together

Yes — and you should, if you're choosing the couple's bundle. We'll discuss both of your wishes in the same consultation.

  • What's the difference between a Living Will and a Healthcare Proxy?

A Living Will documents your wishes — what you want to happen. A Healthcare Proxy names the person who'll communicate and act on your behalf — who speaks for you. You need both. They work together.

  • Is the consultation free?

Yes. The flat fee only applies once you decide to move forward.

  • What if my situation is more complicated than this bundle covers?

Schedule the consultation anyway. We'll be honest about whether this bundle fits or whether you need something broader. There's no obligation, and the consultation is free either way.

Stop putting it off.

The consultation takes 30 minutes. The documents take a week. Your family will thank you for the rest of their lives.
